Mini Bus from Ferry arrival in Cowes for 4 Nights at The Lakes Rookley
Friday 19th May.
0900 Mini Bus to Cowes to explore ( Visit Beken of Cowes? or Cowes Maritime Museum perhaps?) followed by Lunch at the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron (RYS) and their private afternoon Castle history tour. Dress Code applies. ( Lunch will be an extra £30- £50 per head depending on the menu chosen -in advance) (Any Late arrivals meet us for lunch at RYS) We have been able to organise this lunch on the understanding that the majority of those attending are ex Royal Navy / RFA veterans.
Afternoon at leisure in Cowes. Return by taxi or public transport which passes The Lakes at Rookley.
Saturday 20th May
Visits to Shipwreck and Maritime Museum Arreton (and craft village) (see google) INCLUDED
You may want to visit the Museum of Island History : Osborne House : or perhaps the Garlic Farm and restaurant ? Check out Trip Advisor for all the island can offer.
Transport can be arranged to those above and charged accordingly.
Sunday 21st May
Transport to the Festival of Transport at the Isle of Wight Steam railway (see Google) . Travel on 1010 train INCLUDED. .Visit the Falconry / Train story exhibition and railway HQ. With your afternoon at Leisure.
Monday 22nd May
0845 Mini bus from The Lakes - West Cowes.
0930 Depart by 100 seat ferry passenger - Cowes to Gunwharf Quays
