Plymouth - Devonport Royal Dockyard
Have you heard about the Devonport Naval Base Open Days in July? See this link Devonport Open Days if you are unaware of whats on offer. (You will have to get your own tickets booked via their website and have Photo ID “on the day" )
I have spent many hours looking for hotel options and it’s clear since the announcement to open the base Hotel rooms are already in shorter supply…. (and prices rising of course)
I have been able to secure some rooms at The Invicta hotel almost on the Hoe at Plymouth...

We have been offered a private visit to the Naval Heritage Centre on Saturday 25th

We expect many of you will wish to do a “Dockyard and Warship Boat trip” and on the Sunday (only) we can also offer a trip up the river to Calstock - Departs Plymouth at 1345 back at 1845. Afternoon tea at the pub in Calstock perhaps?

What else can we suggest whilst in Plymouth…? after your personal wander down memory lane?

A visit to the “The Box” (see google) to see their display of figureheads? Its Free too...

A wander round the famous Barbican - and perhaps a visit to “Captain Jaspers” for Fish and chips? or even the Gin Factory?

A wander round the former Victualling yard…Known to many as the Royal William. Its also a great visit now it is fully restored and "buzzing"
