Despite earlier understandable reluctance to travel by some clients, those that did travel with us in September had a fabulous time in Malta. (The Island only had a reported 25 Covid deaths in 18 Months!). Whilst there, I was able to obtain some great room rates for winter 2022 should you wish to “escape” the UK weather - and promised winter gas bills - after Christmas with us.  We are very happy to lead another group to one of our favourite holiday destinations. It won't be a heatwave but it wont be like UK in January either!

No Gas Bills!!…. Breakfast and Supper provided daily……No washing up!! Surely time to sign up?

What to do? We will arrange about 6 days of outings and events as an introduction to Malta and its naval and military past for those of you new to the island and will be advertised later to those joining this group as a “package” to buy or decline. Car hire is very cheap in Malta so bring your UK driving licence!  Bring a few quiz questions for a weekly DIY Quiz, a good book and be ready to meet some new people and potential friends too. Depending who joins the group we hope to have a few clients who have a story to tell the rest of the group one evening.

What about flights? With so many options from regional airports we ask you ( or our faithful travel agent DW Travel on 01637 877 955) to book your own flights to and from Malta. The holiday will start and finish at Malta airport - where you will be met.. Taxi / Mini bus transfers to/from the hotel are included.   My wife and I will now be on an evening Ryanair flight from Stansted at 1820 on 6th January( we paid less than £20 for the flight - but much more for a suitcase of course) Our original flight having been cancelled! All flights arriving on April 6th include a taxi to the hotel in our quoted prices.

We can offer these special winter rates at anytime up til the end of March (Extra over Christmas and New Year) but as a group we will start this holiday on 6th January for 21 or 28 days….but feel free to join the group at a date suitable to you. Shorter periods may be available. Phone to check.
