WHY NOT ESCAPE SOME OF THIS UK WINTER - TO MALTA ?
Despite earlier understandable reluctance to travel by some clients, those that did travel with us in September and again in January had a fabulous time in Malta. (The Island only had a reported 25 Covid deaths in 18 Months!). If you were unable to join us in the past we can offer the following superb hotel rates should you want to head to Malta in February or March. I was able to obtain some great room rates for this period should you wish to “escape” the UK weather - and promised winter gas bills!
You will travel on your own and organise your own programme but how does this look for a 4* Hotel on the seafront at Sliema - on a Half Board basis?
For Two Persons sharing a Twin or Double room it’s only £890 each for 28 nights Half Board. (Work it out - that's just over £30 per night each for two people sharing a room) or £790 each for 21 nights - again on a Half Board basis . ( Stay all winter if you like for just an extra £200 per week) …..These prices include local taxes too.

The Rooms. All have central heating, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and TV with endless Satellite channels (inc UK TV of course)

Lobby Bar and an la carte restaurant . On the 14th Floor is the Skyroom Penthouse -and open at weekends.
The Feelgood Spa includes the following - at no extra charge……..Heated pool ; Jacuzzis : Sauna and Steam room.

There is a 9 Hole mini golf course on the roof with sheltered sunbathing and out door heated Jacuzzis.

What will the weather be like in Malta in February/ March ? A lot better than UK - of course!!
No Gas Bills!!…. Breakfast and Supper provided daily……No washing up!! Surely time to sign up?
What to do? For previous groups we arranged about 6 days of outings and events as an introduction to Malta and its naval and military past for those new to the island . Car hire is very cheap in Malta so take your UK driving licence should you be tempted - but local buses can be great fun - and extra extra cheap!
What about flights? With so many options from regional airports we ask you ( or our faithful travel agent DW Travel on 01637 877 955) to book your own flights to and from Malta. Our prices include a taxi transfer to and from the hotel.

What if I have to cancel?
Make sure you have full cancellation insurance in place to cover any eventuality- to cover the period before starting the holiday and the holiday itself.

The ‘package” you could put together for yourselves when in `Malta could include any of the following. All places that we have visited on recent holidays to the George Cross island.
Mgarr (underground WWII shelter) Mdina Aviation Museum/ Craft village and Mosta Dome.
Fort St Elmo …Malta at War Museum & Malta Experience audio visual + La Sacra Infermeria. (see Google). Lascaris underground WWII & Cold war HQ with plenty of opportunities to explore Valetta on foot - returning by local bus or ferry.
The noon day Valetta gun display (repeated at 1600) or viewing the amazing Caravaggio painting in the RC cathedral are also possible.
Or perhaps Fort St Angelo ( the former HMS St Angelo) + Malta at War Museum and the famous 100 ton gun for their afternoon displays?
Or even the Marsaxlokk village ( Sunday market)and San Anton Palace Gardens.
